Quality Control Technician
Are you looking for a great opportunity with a growing company to work in the field of Quality Control? The QC Tech will perform a wide variety of QC functions and daily inspections on all concrete products, including post pour, patching, and load inspections, and maintaining clear and precise records according to the Precast Institute (PCI). A strong work ethic and team player attitude is essential for success. A background in precast, quality control or construction management is preferred. Plant Technician 1 (General Labor)
The Plant Technician 1 who joins our team will perform tasks as assigned by the Foreman involving the production of precast concrete products, including finishing surfaces of poured concrete using a variety of hand and power tools. A strong work ethic and team player attitude is essential for success!
Experience and Skills Needed:
- Preferred experience working with concrete
- Ability to work several consecutive hours on your feet
- Ability to read a tape measure and a blueprint
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds several times a day
- General understanding of power tools; battery operated drills, reciprocating saw, rebar cutters, sanders, miter saw
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced work environment
- Willingness to work inclement weather conditions
- Good housekeeping skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Must have reliable transportation
Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
Yard Laborer
Come work for our growing company! The Yard Laborer will assist the crew in a variety of duties in our precast concrete yard. Loading concrete products on various delivery vehicles, ensuring its safety for transport is a key responsibility of this position.
Experience and Skills Needed:
- The ability to lift 50 pound repetitively several times a day
- Physical ability to climb up and down ladders multiple times per day
- Signaling and rigging experience is a definite plus
- General understanding of yard vehicles and equipment
- General understanding of concrete preferred
- The ability to follow direction from supervision
- The ability to work in inclement weather conditions, year-round
- Good housekeeping skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to operate equipment safely, including front end loader, fork truck
- Strong work ethic and team player mentality
- The ability to work overtime as needed
- Willingness to be at work on time every day!
